| Day 1 |
Arrive Kilimanjaro Airport. Our hosts will meet us
outside customs and transport us to the Coffee Plantation (a 45
minute drive). This elegant property is located in
the midst of an operational coffee plantation. |
| Day 2 |
Breakfast and then a short pre-safari briefing with our
local partners, and then off tot he airport to fly to the
northern or western Serengeti (depending on time of year) where we will stay in the Migration Camp
or Kirawira Camp. These 5 star properties provide individual tent rooms that are
permanent structures with teak floors, marble counter counter
tops, king sized beds, showers, electricity, leather chairs, and
a deck running all the way round overlooking a hippo pool. After lunch we will take our
first game drive in infamous Serengeti National Park. |
| Day 3 & 4 |
All day game drives in the Serengeti National Park.
Overnight at the Migration/Kirawira Camp. Each person has the option of
going out all day for game viewing with a picnic lunch, or
returning to the lodge for a few hours of R&R in the middle of
the day. |
| Day 5 & 6 |
All day game drives in the Serengeti National Park.
Overnight at the Mbuzi Mawe Tented Camp or the new Bilila Lodge. Each person has the
option of going out all day for game viewing with a picnic
lunch, or returning to the lodge for a few hours of R&R in the
middle of the day. |
| Day 7 |
After check out, and a morning game drive
we fly to Ngorongoro Crater. Overnight at the Crater Lodge. This
5 star property sits on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater with
each room having a direct view down 2000 feet into the crater. |
| Day 8 |
Game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater
(Africa's Eden). Overnight at the Crater Lodge. |
| Day 9 |
After breakfast we will fly back to
Arusha where you will have a day room at the Coffee Plantation
to relax and rest up for the evening flight back to Amsterdam. |
