Get up close and personal with the healthiest wildlife ecosystem in the
world, as only you can with professionals that have spent years leading
photographic safaris throughout the Africa. We get to
experience prides of lions, cheetahs, the occasional leopard, hundreds of
elephants, giraffe, monkeys, wildebeest, antelope, zebra, etc. in their
natural habitat. This trip is designed to get you in the middle of the Mega
Migration for 2 nights, and in the midst of the most dense cat population on
the planet for another 2 nights., and Yet, this view is enjoyed from the comfort and safety of an
extended land cruiser that seats 8 even though we will only have 4. The roof
of this vehicle pops up so that each visitor gets a full 360 degree view of
this exciting adventure. Throughout the experience you be pampered in
lodgings that will get you right in the middle of your own personal wildlife
special. Every night we stay in lovely lodges and/or
tented camps. Yes, some of the accommodations have canvas walls, large real beds, and
of course electricity, dressing rooms, shower rooms, and real toilets. Food
that is prepared by European
trained chefs will pamper the pallet. You are
always met at the lodges with a damp cloth and cool fruit juices. On top of
that, Tanzania, although poor, is safe, stable and extremely welcoming.
These trips include all ground and internal air transportation, all lodgings, all food,
and park fees. The only additional
out of pocket expenses will be souvenirs, tips, travel insurance, visas and international air travel. The
flight is as easy as Detroit – Amsterdam – Kilimanjaro all on Northwest /
KLM.

Sept 25 transfer from Kilimanjaro
International Airport to hotel
Sept 26 Early start to Lake
Manyara National Park for first safari. Overnight near Ngorongoro Conservation
Area.
Sept 27 Game drive in the amazing
Ngorongoro Crater (considered a modern day wonder of the world) with more than
25,000 large mammals on the crater floor. Overnight near the crater.
Sept 28 - 29 in a mobile camp in
the middle of the famed Serengeti National Park among the most dense big cat
population on the planet.
Sept 30 - Oct 1 in a mobile camp
near the famed Mara River where the Mega Migration crosses on it's way south
this time of year.
Oct 2 Fly back to Arusha for
lunch and then the flight home.
All of the lodging locations have
been selected so that we are in the middle of the action. Most of the
lodges in the Serengeti are so far from the action that we miss the best light
and action in the morning and evening just traveling to / from the lodge.
